I was inspired by old 'Collect-A-Thon' platformers like Banjo Kazooie and all the beautiful games in the 'Hidden Object' genre. This is just a short demo but hopefully, it's fun. Try to scan your surroundings and see if anything is misplaced or peculiar!
This game originally started when I followed Bracky's beginner Godot tutorial with some friends who were learning game development. I took that original frame and built upon it in my spare time for about 2 months. I added additional features and slowly replaced all the art and music with my own.
I like how the game isn't linear, you can explore the area and learn its layout while taking your time. If I were to realise this concept further I could vary the collectables so they could blend into the scenery and be more of a challenge, more akin to the 'Hidden Object' games.
I really enjoyed making this. It was super fun to make this much pixel art and this is also the first complete song I've made for a game. I'd love to hear your comments!

nice game, just a bit too short.
if you turn it into a metroidvania it would be even cooler (like after some ülatforming sections, you unlock double jump which lets you get gems in some places unreachable before)
